Beautiful book.
Beautiful, age-appropriate way to explain Palm Sunday to little kids. The story is told through Ono, the young donkey, which makes Jesus' humble entry into Jerusalem feel relatable and easy for preschoolers to understand. The message that God has a purpose for everyone, even when you feel small, is so encouraging, and the illustrations make it feel extra special.

Lovely children's Bible story
Sweetly written, a lovely story about a young donkey who was chosen to be our Lord's ride into the city. I liked the addition of Lina, the donkey's sheepish sidekick that allowed for a dialogue between them that expressed the importance of the moment to the reader. The illustrations were colorful and richly detailed and fit the story well. A great way to tell this Bible story from the donkey's perspective.

AI Generated?
Book is okay, has a good story line. In a world where we see a lot of AI generated things, the story and pictures seem to be exactly that. The grammar, punctuation, words, etc, seem off. So okay book, I love that it centers around Christ, just seems AI generated.

A Wonderful First Palm Sunday Story for Kids
I appreciated how this gentle Palm Sunday story helped my young child understand why people waved branches for Jesus. Seeing the story through Ono, the small donkey chosen for Jesus' journey into Jerusalem, made the lesson meaningful and easy for preschoolers to grasp. The illustrations are warm and engaging, holding my child's attention while introducing an important Bible moment. I also loved how the story teaches humility, purpose, and trust in God's plan in a simple way children can understand. It sparked wonderful family conversations about Easter and faith. This book is a beautiful choice for bedtime reading, Sunday school lessons, or meaningful family devotion time.
