Wait before you speak
Waiting before you speak is one of the most important life lessons that kids can learn. It's something that many adults still need to work on. I really liked that it's faith-based. The illustrations are also really nice, which should hold kids' attention.

100% AI
The concept is really good, sadly it's nothing like the description. It's like a mix of a bunch of differnent books and confusing text put together by AI. It never tells you what the little boy he is waiting to say. At one point the kid over hears two adult talking about something bad that happen that they need to tell the kids in the group about. However this is never answered! Left me with a lot of questions.

The story seemed less about patience and more about self-control
Patience truly is a virtue, and a quality that should most definitely be encouraged, but this particular story was a bit frustrating to read. I had the impression that the young boy had something important to say, but for some reason did not find the right place or time to express it, instead choosing to wait. I read the story twice, and I don't think he ever did say what was weighing on him so heavily. That was a bit frustrating to me. I felt a constant pressure to know what the heck was so important, but never knowing what it was was a big letdown, ultimately. And I have to say the boy seemed to be practicing self-control more than patience, in my mind. He was not content to wait quietly, but instead came across as holding something back. There might be a religious lesson I'm missing, which makes it even more disappointing as a reading experience, unfortunately.

An artful story for young readers wrapped around the virtue of "Patience."
This book, a faith-based story from Galatians, is about developing patience. And the slow, but gentle manner that this character trait can be shared with our grandchildren. I was genuinely delighted with the illustrations. The soft hues and fading backgrounds brought a certain degree of intimacy to the theme and how the story was told. I can read this story with the kiddos for a few more years to come. Thank you.
